Cafe' 291 is a small cozy Cafe with the style and charm of a Seattle based boutique restaurant. We are pleased to serve the residents and non residents of the Chester area with our eclectic menu items\. Our chefs have searched high and low to bring you the best foods at the lowest price and have paid attention to the small details as well as the large. Our menu consist of everything from banana walnut pancakes to start your day all of the way up to a flame broiled sizzling juicy steak from our grill we also serve salads and Panini sandwiches. Cafe' 291 History.
The location where Cafe' 291 sits has always been a famous Chester eatery as far as I can remember my family has always come to this location to get soul food from May Bells restaurant and after that it was taken over by a family that was displaced by Hurricane Katrina and their menu and name had "The Essence of New Orleans written all over it. I even heard some of my Elders say that this place was the place that they came for breakfast in the early 50's. Well some things never change and we plan on being the place that get talked about in the near future.
